We where so blessed!

We have had our ups and downs this year to be sure but we have been so blessed. Our best friend Amy and her wonderful daughter Amelia. They only had a day and a half but I would have settled for 30 minutes. I haven't seen them in over 3 years. We had an amazing time. Amelia, just like my girls, have grown so much over that time.

Ames looks 14 or 15 easy. It's so scary that our daughters are the age we were when we started making bad decisions out of anger and hurt and missing our dads. I pray these young ladies feel the love that surrounds them by everyone who mets them. They are amazing young ladies, kind, sweet, smart, funny, independent, creative, and caring. If they grow up to only half their potential it will be amazing.

I was also blessed by extra money this month. Between some money I received and all the over time I worked in the month of June, it was really sweet. Great timing. The universe does provide and in some mysterious ways.

I survived my first full Metro month as the dispatcher in charge without to many mistakes. In fact I think I did extremely well. I love what I do though and my job is a part of who I am and if I am not good at it I can't feel good about myself.

I have been missing people lately, my dad (died), my friends from SD, friends from CA,OR, and FL. I realized that even though missing them is sad, it is also a blessing to know and love these people enough to miss them. They are all a important part of me.
